Another VU have meticulously recreated every element of the Velvets’ dangerous, seductive sound, while capturing the spontaneity and intensity that made their live performances so unforgettable.​

Their tribute production immerses audiences in the environment of both their Exploding Plastic Inevitable events with Andy Warhol in 1966 and their independent concerts from 1967-1970.​

 

Celebrating 60 years since the birth of the Exploding Plastic Inevitable, audiences are plunged into a kaleidoscope of orbiting colour reflections, liquid light projections, flashing xenon strobes, and evocative film imagery - all colliding with the Velvets’ hypnotic, timeless music.
